Day 2 San Fraincisco

Sunday morning we headed off to church after a meal in our room (cereal). Motel Capri did have pastries in the lobby which our boys thought was pretty awesome but Mom didn't count as breakfast. The church parking lot is awesome! There are maybe 30 parking spaces for 2 wards (they combine primary and youth programs) so after someone has parked at the 90 degree angle, someone else comes and parallel parks in front of them effectively blocking them in. The first ward parks at the front half and the second ward at the back half and hopefully no one from the second ward blocks in anyone from the first! Knowing this, we opted to find a spot on the street since we only stayed for sacrament meeting. It was fun sitting with our friends and seeing the make-up of the ward. There are lots of young people with small children! And the church is still true, even in San Francisco :) Ha.

After changing at the motel we drove to the other side of the city, braved the one way streets, and found parking (much easier on a Sunday than any other day of the week!). We walked around Union Square and China Town. Great places to people watch!

We then headed to the children's playground at Golden Gate Park to meet up with our friends. That park is HUGE and beautiful. We only spent 2 hours in one location- I think we could spend days at all this park has to offer!

After the park we drove past the beach and then on to our friends' house for dinner and a couple Easter egg hunts. Pretty awesome friends, right? Thanks again guys :)
