Soccer

Luke participated in soccer this spring. In the U6 division they have 30 minutes of practice and then play another team for 30 minutes so it wasn't too much of a time commitment in case he didn't like it. But he did!

Luke's favorite part was probably his uniform. He'd get up Saturday morning and put it on (shin guards, cleats, and all) and wear them all day if we let him. He'd wear them all day every day if we were okay with it :)

At the awards ceremony/party he received the Most Improved Player award! He really did improve a lot. At first, if someone had that ball he wouldn't run up to them- he'd run next to them. By the end of the season he'd run right up to them and try to kick the ball away. At first, he'd kick the ball once or throw it in and then just watch to see what happened. By then end he was following up on those kicks. He did really great and had a lot of fun in the process! He had a great coach too.
