As long as Andrew couldn't see me he was happy in the stroller.

The famOn Friday, our friends Mandy, Maggie, and Ryleigh flew into town (working for an airline has it's perks!) so we got to spend the day hanging out with them. We were officially celebrating Luke's birthday that day so of course, the visit counts as part of the celebration!
Sonic at the park- yum! That night Luke got to open his presents. For the last few months he kept telling us he wanted Lightening McQueen (his friend Henry has one and Luke tried to hijack it several times). Well, not only did he get Lightening, he also got Ramone, Doc., and Mater. He was pretty excited. He also got some new Spider Man Sunglasses, transformers, Chutes and Ladders, and a dinosaur twin comforter for when he gets a bed that size.
Luke with his lootWe had pizza, cauliflower, and watermelon for dinner. He chose to have ice cream sandwiches for dessert. We're not the biggest cake fans :-)
Sunday was his real birthday and the boys and I were in CO for that. Grandma did a wonderful job helping us celebrate- complete with birthday hats, a birthday pillow for people to sign, a special birthday pin, and of course, a few presents- the games were a big hit the whole week- especially the Nemo match game. I had brought along a book and a couple puzzles for him to open too so he enjoyed this second birthday also. Now he says he is "almost 5". My Dad's side of the family all came over to see everyone who was in town so they got to help us celebrate. Cris made Luke a Nemo cake- which he ate very little of but loved to look at. Thanks for making his birthday so special everyone!
